I'm always impressed when a tech brand remains cool while evolving and simplify a fantastic concept. Sonos has been one of these brands since the launch of their first ZonePlayer back in 2005.
I remember that when I first saw them at CES I instantly loved what they were doing - wireless music in every room of my house without spending thousands to get it done. On top of it everything about them looked cool!
Their logo, products even the people that worked for them were great. I remember setting up one of their original systems at my boyfriend's house and handing him the controller when I was done. He was beyond excited with what I was showing him and was impressed that I could set it up.
Now it's 2013 and they're still literally rocking away with products and coolness. From awesome billboards on Sunset blvd with iconic bad-asses like DeadMau5 to the launching one of the coolest reoccurring parties in LA over at Sonos Studio each month.
Aaaaand for their next cool move they're running a "Test Sonos At Home" campaign that allows you to get them into your bedrooms for less than $300. You can get the whole test pack for $299 and for that you get the Sonos Test Pack complete with PLAY:3, a free BRIDGE and 90-days of Rhapsody.
I've decided I'm going to take them up on their test and see just how easy setting up their system in my home is. If it's anything like it was in 2005 then I'll be set in no time. Everything on their website just looks so cool that it makes me want all of it...funny how that works!
I'll post my experience and maybe some vidz as I move through the process. Come back to see what I thought. Wish me luck!
