Wearable tech is big here and parents, you're going to love this! No one wants to disturb their sick, sleeping child that’s why I love this! It's a thermomoter that comes in the form of a patch. This design gives parents peace of mind and their sick children the rest they need to get better. It’s currently pending FDA pre-market review. It's the only wearable, wireless thermometer in the form of a soft, comfortable patch.
With the app, mom AND dad can continuously monitor temperature and sends alerts via Bluetooth to parents when a particular temp is reached. Fantastic!
Another cool wearable gadget is from TomTom - TomTom Multi-Sport GPS Cardio watch It has a built-in Heart Rate Monitor so you can get more out of every run, bike ride, and swim. With it you get accurate heart rate information without a bulky chest strap.
With the app you can track your distance, time, pace, speed, and calories burnt on this extra-large display and I LOVE the blod, cool color options!
It definitely gives me peace of mind to be connected to my home while I’m away and that’s what drew me to the RemoteLync from Kidde Fire Safety. This cube plugs in and listens for a smoke or carbon monoxide alarm, and sends a message to your iOS or Android devices.
What’s great is, they are no on going costs, it connects with all UL-approved alarms, and you only need one of these for most homes
Something else I love this year are all of the TVs, but especially LG’s OLED that's also 4k! They offer the best picture quality of any TV I've seen. They produce an infinite contrast ratio, life-like color, and 4K resolution for the most realistic picture you can get!
There is a variety of from OLED TVs with curved, flat or even flexible configurations - and they are now making this tech mainstream. Thanks LG!
Tech for smart homes is definitely and I love this gadget: It’s Kwikset’s Kevo, a bluetooth-powered smart lock. The Kevo app turns your smartphone an electronic key, so you can lock and unlock your deadbolt quickly with just a touch
This spring, they are releasing Kevo Plus, which enables remote locking and unlocking from your phone!

And speaking of NEW technology, this next gift is the camera re-imagined. It’s the RE from HTC.This part is so cool: by simply picking it up, it turns on and is ready to shoot. It takes high-quality photos, videos, works underwater AND can pair directly with both your Android and iOS devices so you can see what RE sees. Set down the camera and let it capture the moments!Plus everything is instantly stored on your phone AND backed up to the cloud, making it perfect for sharing anywhere.
Well, I didn’t know this, but 8 out of 10 people suffer from back pain, so you likely know someone who would love this gift. This is Valedo, a personal medical device that takes exercises—like the ones you would do with a physical therapist—and puts them into fun, interactive games on your devices. You’re guided through these virtual “worlds” while moving your body in ways that support long-term back health and pain reduction. It’s makes a great gift because it’s a cool new technology that’s portable and can actually help make your back healthier, which I love!

I've been studying this for a lttile while now and here's my take on What A Social Media Star/Influencer really is!
Jerry Purpdrank IS SO FUNNY!!
Social media has completely changed the way one can become famous - it has disrupted the fame game if you will
Today, the most recognizable celebrities to the current teen and young adult population gained their fame through their personal accounts on digital platforms like Vine (owned by Twitter), Instagram (owned by Facebook) and SnapChat. Not from a TV show or a movie and they certainly had no help.
How Do They Become Stars? 1- Talent One has to have the raw talent it takes to rapidly conceptualize, shoot and edit share-worthy content, all on a cell phone. Videos must be funny, relatable or somehow extraordinary while photographs must be highly impressionable as does music. It takes talent.
@JuliaKelly is MY GURL!
2- Consistency Posting quality content on a consistent basis. Period.
3- Luck (or famous Viner friends) A single post going viral can make one a star in less than 24 hrs but with 8,333 videos shared on Vine every minute, luck has to be on your side.
@CurtisLepore is another great Viner and despite what you may have read, he's a great guy and I believe he was wrongfully accused.
Luck can also come in the form of a friend who happens to be a famous Viner with millions of followers. Appearing and getting tagged in the right Vine, on the right account can make it happen in no time and a 7 figure salary for posting 4 pieces of content a week, along with the ability to influence millions of kids around the globe can be all yours.
I want a new computer! And I want a new tablet! I know the holiday is more about giving than receiving so I'll pretend I'm actually talking about what to give - but really I'm not. OK -so here's only one thing TO do in this situation and that's going out and getting the all new Microsoft Surface Pro 3! Remember the cool spots for this device? I love the fact that the keyboard comes right off to flip into a tablet, the battery life kicks major butt with 9-hrs of life and the Intel processor allow me to have all the horsepower I need in a machine to get all of my work done as well as Jack's games and homework. With a price tag under $800 I want 2 of them!
As a single mom there are a lot of people in my life that help me with Jack. My mom, the sitter, the in-laws ... each of these people needs a way to get into my house and thanks to the Schlage Touch lock, I can don't have to hand out a million different keys - just codes. This lock holds up to 19 different codes, which are super easy to program, and with this devise in my life I can feel the safety of knowing exactly who has access and can change it at any time. The lock is not only easy to program but it was easy to install! I highly recommend this key-less system to anyone out there that wants the same piece of mind.
I love Amazon and I'm thrilled that they now have a phone called the Amazon Fire Phone! The phone is $.99 with a 2 year contract and with it comes a year of Amazon Prime! Because I buy all of my large household items using Amazon Prime that means I get free 2-day shipping as well as access to all of the online content Prime has to offer - movies and TV shows, all of it now comes packed into this handsome phone. It's also rocking 32 gigs of storage, which is a lot, but if you need more the phone also comes with FREE unlimited cloud storage for pics. One more feature I like is the Mayday button, a button that is a 24/7 help line to support when I need it!
